To create a Quick Report there are two possible places to start. 

1. If you wish to have a global report that can be run from anywhere, then you need to go to the Application record, then drilldown to Quick Reports.
2. If you wish to have a report run from a specific place in the database, then you need to find the associated field definition in the data model, and then drilldown to Quick Reports from there.
