WorkflowFirst automatically records the timezone of the user when they first login. This is then used to process all dates stored in the system so they are displayed to the user in their own local timezone. Also any dates that are entered in by the user will be converted from the client's local timezone to the timezone of the server, so they can then be displayed to any other users in their own local timezone.

To facilitate this, WorkflowFirst automatically adds a Timezone Offset field in the user record. This is set when the user first logs in to the system (the login page sends this information). It's then used whenever a time is displayed to that user, and when any form is submitted by them. Any emails sent out from the system while that user is logged in will also use that same timezone.
