WorkflowFirst is a general-purpose, rapid-application development system. It can create a wide variety of web-applications. From simple web-sites to comprehensive loan-administration systems, customer relationship management to content management systems. WorkflowFirst excels at creating workflow or other business web applications.

It can also be used in tandem with other developed systems, because every WorkflowFirst application has a full API you can use to add or retrieve data from the system, leveraging all the workflow features it provides behind the scenes. You can add information from other applications and use WorkflowFirst to provide the user interface for workflow management. It also stores all its data in first-class tables in a SQL Server database, which you can also populate from other applications.

WorkflowFirst provides a lot of functionality out of the box. Its workflow features, though, are second-to-none. At its heart WorkflowFirst is a hierarchical database, but the individual records in the database can be assigned to different users or roles for processing. It also takes the rich data model you define and automatically creates forms, taking care of much of the user interface for you.
