Overview

Once an application is created and in use, the goal should be to maintain and improve that product, and that will undoubtedly involve putting new versions of the software to replace the current version.

But there is a risk every time software is updated that a change will inadvertently break some existing functionality. Any useful system will get to a degree of complexity where this is unavoidable.

To mitigate the risk of this occurring, developers usually employ automated testing tools that facilitate the process of ensuring that new versions of software maintain existing functionality.

While most development systems require third party testing tools, WorkflowFirst comes integrated with a set of testing tools that allow you to automate a great deal of testing in your application, providing a significant tool for keeping your solutions stable and effective as they're developed.
