There are two downloadable editions of WorkflowFirst, the Express edition and the Professional edition.

The download file for each edition is relatively small, and installation should be a quick and easy process.

For the WorkflowFirst Express edition, it uses a database called SQL Compact which is suitable for running on desktops, laptops, and even Windows tablets. It takes up very little resources.

As for the Professional edition, it uses Microsoft SQL Server, which usually runs on its own server machine and can support a large number of users.
